Cooling Performance Based on Outside Temperature

When used with the Biogel cooling pack, the Companion medical cooler bag maintains a cool temperature between 2°C and 26°C (36°F–79°F). Cooling duration depends on the external ambient temperature:

🌡️ Outside temperature 40°C (104°F) → The cooler bag keeps your insulin and medication cool between 2°C–26°C for up to 10 hours

🌡️ Outside temperature: 35°C (95°F) → The cooler bag keeps your insulin and medication cool between 2°C–26°C for up to 12 hours

🌡️ Outside temperature: 30°C (86°F) → The cooler bag keeps your insulin and medication cool between 2°C–26°C for up to 14 hours

⚠️ Important!

• The medication cooler bag is designed only for open or in-use medications that must be kept below 26°C (79°F), but not refrigerated. To carry refrigerated medications, please check our mini fridges.
  
• Cooling performance is passive and does not require electricity
  
• Real-world cooling duration may vary depending on:
  Frequency of opening
  Initial temperature of the medication
  Direct sun exposure

How to Use The Companion Insulated Travel Bag for Insulin and Medicine

1. Freeze the Biogel Cold Pack: Store the Blue Biogel Cold Pack in your freezer for 6 to 8 hours until it's solidly frozen. This gel is crafted to capture and maintain cold temperatures effectively, ensuring your medications stay chilled.
2. Prepare the Cold Pack: After freezing, briefly soak the Biogel Cold Pack in warm water for about 60 seconds. This ensures the gel reaches the best consistency for cooling, protecting your medications from freezing due to direct contact.
3. Pack the Cold Pack in Your Cooler Bag: Place the prepared Blue Biogel Cold Pack into the Companion travel bag.
4. Load your Insulin or Other Medicines: Insert your insulin pens, vials, or other temperature-sensitive medicines into the cooler bag together along with the Biogel cold pack.
5. Ready for Travel! Once your medications are properly packed, your Companion Bag is set to keep them cool for up to 14 hours of travel. Cooling performance and duration are detailed on the product images.

To extend the cooling effect, simply replace the existing cold pack with a new frozen one as needed. Additional Biogel Cold Packs compatible with the Companion cooling bag can be purchased here.
